I always tell him this, but he turns it straight around on me and usually goes with the quotes 'theres not much left of me after work' and 'i'm just so busy' and 'i am looking at the future give it a few years'. You just have to be honest and open with one another the whole way through. When I do something, I am either all in, or not at all. If we do get a day to spend together, he is usually so tired that I feel so bad to be taking his sleeping time away from him. Chefs are perfectionists and eager to please — and that's just the beginning. They have the ability to make you appreciate life for what it is and not what you may want it to be. He really loves his job and always spends more than 12 hours at work and sometimes he will come to work on his day off because of a last-minute meeting or someone did not come to work.
